Martin, founder and managing director of Ecosse Motorcycles, has worked in the motorcycle industry since 1983 when he joined Honda (UK) as a sales administrator. He progressed through the ranks, ending up as a race team co-ordinator, looking after such famous riders as Carl Fogarty, Steve Hislop and Joey Dunlop. He left Honda in 1991 to join Yamaha UK where he spent 12 years, ending up as Divisional Manager in charge of sales and marketing. A few years as managing director for Piaggio (UK) looking after some iconic European brands such as Vespa, Piaggio, Gilera, Derbi, and Aprilia. In 2005 Martin decided time was right to locate to Scotlands east coast and create what is now, Ecosse Motorcycles. David Henderson

Parts Assistant

Joined the Ecosse team back in 2014 and have been in the parts and service department since. Started off on a Honda 250 motocross bike when I was 12, at 16 I got my CBT and was tearing up the tarmac on a go slow 50cc. Since then I have had a Bandit 650, CBR600F and a Street Triple R. Finally worked my way up to my current bike which is a Honda CB1000R, hoping to move onto a Fireblade next or something more exotic like a Ducati Hypermotard. Been around bikes my whole life thanks to my dad who’s been riding since he was 17.

Parts Assistant

I started working at Ecosse in April 2017 in the parts department and I really enjoy it. I got my first Yamaha PW80 when I was 7. When I was 16 I got my first road bike which was a Aprilia Biaggi Rep Scooter, a year later I got a CH Racing/Yamaha 125 Super Moto which I got fed up of and decided to start racing. I raced a pre-injection r6 in the Scottish championship for 2014/2015 seasons.
